Apartment Searching

When searching for an apartment you would be best to check all local areas and compare prices, check the deals they offer and if you have any pets to check the deposit cost. Also when doing so you would be best to check the community around the apartments to know what is going on and how far from the local stores and areas you may need to visit. Another thing to look out for is if you rent an apartment be sure to read the lease as we should anyway but to be honest none of us really do.

When you find the one you would like get a copy of the full lease as it will save you a lot of trouble be sure you read the main areas of parking, repairs and maintenance and damages. Be sure to keep a close eye on them and know your rights as a tenant of your apartments. Be sure most of all is in the parking area that you have read and understood the parking rights as parking spaces may not be assigned as well as if they mention that your car has to be maintained and operable as they may have it towed if you do not abide by these policies per your lease. Also ask if they have a contract with a towing company as they will make rounds and if they do make sure they provide you a notice that your car will be towed as they must if they are to have your car towed but make sure to read your lease on this as this is not always the case.

Another thing is when you get ready to move in you should check everything high and low for anything that is wrong with the apartment and wright it down and send it to the office so that they know what is wrong and they will not be able to use it in the end against you. When doing this be sure to make 2 copy's to cover yourself to be able to have proof that you did in fact create it and wright it down.
